The Dream Trip

I want to let you all know, my faithful and/or sporadic readers, that I will be taking a leave of absence from my blog for the month of January and the first two weeks of February.  On January 10th I will go on a trip with Rotary that will take me all along the Northeast coastline of Brasil, only to return 31 days later on February 9th after visiting Brasília, Lençóis, Maceió, Natal, Jericoacoara, Fortaleza, Recife, Salvador, Itacaré, Porto Seguro, Vitória and finally ending in Rio de Janeiro.  There are so many activities that I am thrilled and excited to take part in.  I will go to a Folkloric dance show in Salvador, a Luau party in Jericoacora, an Axé class in Porto Seguro, and the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.  I have the opportunity to take a surfing lesson, ride horseback on the beach, and go on a buggy ride in the sand dunes, among other adventures.  I will be traveling by bus with about forty other exchange students, most of whom I haven’t met yet. It is called The Dream Trip, and I am sure that it will be.  While I would love to write about all of this for you wonderful people, I am not sure on the internet availability and I am not planning on bringing my computer.  But I promise that I will write every exciting moment down and update you when I return.
Já volto, beijos e abraços!
